Galleri 54 is run by the board of Grupp 54, an association made up of professional artists. Group 54 is made up of 321 artists and was formed in 1954. From 1959 the group has run Gallery 54 with the intention to give artists an opportunity to show works and formulate ideas without commercial pressure. The aim with Galleri 54 is to create a platform for discussion and realisation of new thoughts and ideas. The gallery is maintained by the Group 54 board which is chosen at the annual meeting. We have an employed gallery host at our regular opening hours. We have been residing in the current venue since 2005.

Accessibility
We have a fixed ramp at the front door threshold and we also have a longer ramp to get out if needed, for the stairs that go up to the upper part of the gallery. The toilet has wall mounted handles.
